Open trial
and work dogs
Ffion and Mist
are my main dogs, for work and trials.
In Scotland
we are usually limited to running two dogs at Open trials.
Lad is my next open dog and will run in the place of one of
the girls until one retires, depending on the sheep.
. 
Work dogs
These dogs are
too pushy and forceful to trial at the moment, I need them to
be pushy for my work as a contract shepherd. All my dogs are
work dogs first and this is the most important aspect of their
lives. If they become suitable for trialing it's a bonus.

These are youngsters
who are beginning their training on sheep.
